January’s STS Driver of the Month is Mykel Simond!
Mykel has been with us for just a short time (since December) but has made quite the impact on our fleet! It may have to do with the 15 years of driving experience behind him.
A native of New England, Mykel enjoys spending time with his family on his home time. Kids, grandkids and all!
“Home time is awesome because the entire family gets together to spend time with me for the short time I’m in town. It’s truly the best!”
When it comes to driving, his favorite road trip snack has gotta be Doritos, specifically cool ranch flavor! But his favorite part of driving has to be sharing his truck with his 4 year old Shih Tzu/Maltese, Cyx (pronounced like the number!).
Lastly, we asked Mykel to give some advice to young drivers. All he had to say was “Slow Down.” Quality driving is key! Don’t rush it.
